Hey there!
Congratulations on your pregnancy. I look forward to meeting you. Supporting women during this stage of their life is my passion- I invite you to schedule a complimentary coffee date to meet me in person to see if we "click"! Here is a little bit about me:
I currently live in Bellevue, PA and have been supporting women in postpartum and birth for over 4 years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from UNC Charlotte and decided I wanted to have a business which helped women along their journey to motherhood after taking a doula training my senior year of college. I am newly back in Pittsburgh after trotting the east coast of the USA from Charlotte to Tampa to Jacksonville where I lived most recently. In my free time, you will find me spending time with my partner and our dog- Boomer, cooking, or exploring the Burgh!

Doula Philosophy

You may be thinking "I want a better experience than my last birth" or "This is my first baby and I am pretty freaked out about how the heck I am going to do this!" or maybe "I know I don't want the epidural but I don't know how I will make it through without one!" That is where I come in... Women want to be listened to, to be as comfortable as possible not only physically during birth, but emotionally. They want to have the experience of a lifetime and not one they will feel they didn’t have a say in… They want to be supported with information that will help them have a quick birth that continues to progress so they may meet their baby quickly. They want to perhaps go naturally to see if the experience can be as instinctual as possible. They want to be able to have someone with continuous presence who knows birth, knows them, and knows how to interact with the providers to accomplish their birth goals, and to help explain choices when things do not go as planned. They want a calm in the storm to support them when things seem overwhelming and to remind them… you can do this.

Beautiful birth

Lily helped me deliver my baby girl through a peaceful water birth. She coached me through every step of the way. When my labor stalled, she walked stairs with me for hours to get things moving while also rubbing my back and providing distractions. She showed my husband what to do to help, so he didn’t feel out of place. She also managed to capture some of the most amazing moments on camera. Thanks to her, I got my dream natural birth in the water and the photos will serve as the reminder of that amazing experience.
