About
I love birth. I love everything about birth. My first six children were born in five different hospitals, and my last six children were born into water at home, and once I experienced the support a doula brings, I knew I had found my calling. Since 2012, I have been serving mothers and helping families greet their new babies with great joy!
Doula Philosophy
Birth belongs to the mother. She is the only one who can bring new life into the world, through her body, and she deserves love, tenderness, respect, and deference as she does the life-giving work of labor and birth. This is a sacred time, a special moment, and the support I provide is complete, unconditional, and offered with total humility, to enhance the intimacy of the parents as they meet their child, skin to skin. No one can know the course of labor in advance, but everyone can choose joy!
